Orochi Yuttari Kan おろち湯ったり館 is located in Kisuki Town 木次町 Unnan City 雲南市. It is a modern facility with a characteristic steel dragon head on the roof representing the Orochi, a giant serpent from Japanese mythology.

There is a rock bath 岩風呂 and a wood bath 木風呂 and they alternate from male and female at different times. The layout of the baths is otherwise the same. There are two outdoor baths (Rotenburo) 露天風呂, one on the ground floor and another up a set of stairs on the 2nd floor open roof. In the case of bad weather the 2nd floor outdoor bath is closed. Sanintabi recommends using the hand rail to climb the stairs to the second floor because it can be slippery.

There is an infra-red dry sauna with a large cold water plunge pool near the exit. There is a bath with massage jets and a very comfortable sleeping bath (Ne-yu) 寝湯 in a quiet alcove with luke warm water so you can relax for a long time.

Orochi Yuttari Kan おろち湯ったり館 also features a 15m long heated pool. It is a bit small for serious swimmers, but spacious enough to enjoy and economical because the onsen / hot spring is included in the price. Swimming hats must be worn in the pool and can be hired from the front desk..
