The Onsen water is drinkable and drinking water provided is from the spring. This Onsen does not feature an outdoor bath, however the large windows provide a nice scenery with snow-capped mountains in the correct season. It has a delicious little restaurant where they make a mean Katsu-don and there is a local specialty and souvenir shopping section as you walk in. This Onsen has a unique feature whereby it is half-price entry to the hot spring if after 5:00pm.
