The Shimane Prefectural Swimming Pool 島根県立水泳プール is located in Matsue City 松江市 and is next to the Matsue General Sports Park 松江総合運動公園. It includes one of the most affordable gym's トレーニングルーム in Matsue 松江.

The gym/training room is a very well equipped with a variety of free-weights and machines. The 25m indoor pool is visible from the gym/training room and is open all year round. There is a 50m outdoor pool, a kids pool with a playground and a diving pool, all open during summer from July to September.
The 25m indoor pool has 8 lanes and is 1.6m deep. They have red stands on the bottom of the pool in certain areas altering the depth to 1.4m for easy walking and swimming practice. The starting blocks at the edges of the pool are high making grip turns difficult. There are many swimming schools and clubs that regularly hire the facilities and reserve lanes.
There is a low temperature sauna in the 25m pool. There are showers in the dressing rooms and a spin dryer for swimmers.
In the summer from July 1 to August 31, the entry price lowers to 630yen for entry to all pools, but at other times of the year it is 740yen for entry to the 25m pool. There are discounts for teachers and students.
